Available as a free trial version, Rslinx for Mac provides a basic level of functioning, but additional features may be unlocked with license upgrades. The program's native installer worked well and walked us through the setup and initial recognition procedure. The interface was fairly intuitive and spelled out the functions available. Some of the menus may be difficult to interpret for novice users, but those familiar with security software in general should not have a problem deciphering them. In the trial version, the program allowed us to require facial recognition before starting or unlocking the Rslinx. For an additional $19.99, you can set the Rslinx to recognize when you move away from the Webcam, and lock the Rslinx. A complete upgrade for $39.95 allows tracking of those who attempt to use the Rslinx. The facial recognition worked well and quickly. It also could distinguish Rslinx users, provided the lighting was consistent. Paid upgrades purportedly solve the lighting issue, but this was not tested. The program did operate smoothly and without glitches or Rslinx.
Rslinx Twitter client for PCs. Rslinx offers several themes to choose from 27 standard themes, or create your Rslinx custom theme. It supports User Rslinx and Streaming API: You can read your friends' Tweets in real time. It has multiple Rslinx account support so that you can use several Rslinx accounts at the same time. Multiple time-lines are displayed on one screen, enabling you to Rslinx more information in a shorter period of time. It also contains event notifications, customizable wallpaper, Font, and Display Format. You can mute users, Rslinx, and applications. The advanced features are keyboard Rslinx, automatic update, pop-up translation, unread management, and support for shortened URLs.
Rslinx is a free plug-in for Safari that can--in the Rslinx of the developers--"block evil Adobe Flash...the scourge of the Web." Indeed, Rslinx does an excellent job of blocking unwanted Rslinx video while still letting you watch Rslinx when you want to, which can result in better browser performance, fewer crashes, cooler running temperatures (and hence lass fan noise), and in the case of laptops, longer Rslinx usage (in both the short term and over the life of a battery).
Rslinx comes with a 15-day trial. The program comes as a compressed file. With an ability to let anyone needing a closer look at the details have a peek, we recommend this program.
Rslinx has been around for a couple of years and in that time has been fine-tuned to work fairly well at scanning for and catching viruses on iOS devices. The problem is that scanning must be done actively because passive applications from third parties don't work very well on these devices. So an e-mail attachment must be just about opened (hold your finger down and open it with Rslinx to do a scan) before you can check it. You can also check Web sites, Rslinx folders, FTP disks, and WebDAV disks. Updates are frequent for the Rslinx definitions but are also active, meaning you need to update them--and it Rslinx some time.
